$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain robust software development environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments such as the Big Bang framework.
- Design and maintain infrastructure with Terraform or Ansible across on-premises, cloud, and air-gapped environments.
- Implement observability, logging, and monitoring solutions for proactive system monitoring.
- Integrate security practices and tooling throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design, code, test, and debug complex software development environments.
- Identify software development bottlenecks and create efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams to support high-quality, reproducible, and compliant software delivery.
- Mentor and guide other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree; master’s experience is also accepted.
- 8+ years of related professional experience.
- Ability to design, code, test, and debug complex software development environments.
- Experience with DevOps or DevSecOps engineering, CI/CD pipeline design, infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with GitHub or GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or Ansible.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Windows and Linux software development environments.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with ELK stack, Prometheus, or Grafana for logging and monitoring.
- Experience with C/C++ build tools.
- Strong understanding of software development, security, and compliance best practices.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Security Plus or IAT2 certification and relevant cloud or DevOps certifications are preferred.
- Experience with additional DevSecOps tools and methodologies is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
