Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, and maintain complex software development environments.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments, including Big Bang framework deployments.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain software development infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and air-gapped environments.
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and observability solutions for proactive monitoring.
- Integrate security practices and tooling throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize workflows and deliver high-quality, reproducible software that meets compliance requirements.
- Identify software-development bottlenecks and create solutions to improve efficiency.
- Mentor and guide other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree; master’s experience is also noted as an alternative.
- At least 5 years of related professional experience.
- Ability to design, code, test, and debug complex software development environments.
- Expertise in at least one programming language and proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with DevOps or DevSecOps engineering, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containers, Kubernetes, and GitOps workflows.
- Experience with Windows and Linux software development environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required because the position needs an active clearance.
- Preferred Security+ or IAT2 certification and relevant cloud DevOps certifications.
- Preferred experience with GitHub or GitLab, Terraform or Ansible, AWS, GCP, Azure, ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, GitLab, Artifactory, and C/C++ build tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
