Base Salary
$110k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of user-facing features and backend services.
- Build accessible, performant UIs with TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
- Implement robust REST APIs in Python (FastAPI/Flask) and design efficient SQL schemas.
- Define clear API contracts and ensure consistency across services and UIs.
- Own quality through automated tests and thorough code reviews.
- Improve build and release pipelines and support deployments on AWS.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to drive reliability and performance improvements.
- Mentor teammates and contribute to planning, estimation, and technical decisions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building fullstack web applications, including leading features or projects.
- Strong expertise with React (React Router/Next.js), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Solid backend experience with Python (FastAPI/Flask), REST API design, and SQL/schema design.
- Hands-on experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of web security and authentication (OAuth 2.0/OIDC) and secure coding practices.
- Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across product, design, and engineering.
- Healthcare/HIPAA experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Elastic Search is a plus.
