Responsibilities
- Design and maintain management services for Linux-based edge devices and PLC systems.
- Develop automation tools using Python for Linux/IoT and C# for Windows-based SDKs.
- Architect solutions for automated, repeatable deployment across global sites.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions for infrastructure health.
- Stay updated on AWS and cloud advancements to introduce innovative solutions.
- Share expertise to foster team development and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Support production environments and participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS, specifically IoT Core, ECS, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Functional understanding of PLC programming logic and experience with APIs.
- Solid Python skills and experience in Windows-based development, preferably C#.
- Firm grasp of the testing pyramid and experience in AWS and Docker environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and modern deployment strategies.
- Strong ambition to automate processes and a detail-oriented problem-solving approach.
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
