Responsibilities
- Build high-performance distributed systems supporting research and trading infrastructure.
- Design tools and improve system reliability.
- Optimize the platform for low-latency, high-throughput data processing.
- Work closely with experienced engineers and quants on live systems and research workflows.
Requirements
- Active student pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in mathematics, statistics, machine learning, physics, computer science, or another scientific discipline, with expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Solid programming skills in Python and/or C++.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, systems, and computer architecture.
- Curiosity, a desire to improve systems, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Interest in learning software design and testing techniques such as refactoring and test-driven development.
- Strong bias for action, accountability, independent problem-solving, collaboration, and receptiveness to actionable feedback.
