Responsibilities
- Own customer solutions end-to-end, including rapid prototyping, iteration, deployment, debugging, and production fixes.
- Build and ship LLM-based and Agentic AI solutions on the Kinaxis Maestro Platform using RAG, multi-agent workflows, tool-use patterns, and prompt and context engineering.
- Manage multiple customer engagements, set expectations, operate independently, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Develop trusted relationships with customer stakeholders from individual contributors through executive sponsors and serve as the technical face of Kinaxis.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, serving, and monitoring.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to turn field learnings into reusable platform capabilities rather than one-off scripts.
- Mentor customer operators and guide teams through solution transitions and adoption.
- Work in a self-directed, multidisciplinary POD team and trade tasks according to customer needs.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, solutions engineering, or a technical-founder role.
- Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-based applications, including RAG systems, multi-agent workflows, tool-use patterns, and prompt and context engineering.
- Familiarity with Copilot, Claude Code, and agentic IDE workflows as regular development tools.
- Understanding of agentic orchestration, including single-agent versus multi-agent architectures and memory and state handling.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building and shipping production systems.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language, with Python strongly preferred, and ability to contribute across a polyglot codebase.
- Experience with REST and streaming APIs, authentication patterns, and enterprise-system integrations.
- Ability to build and maintain data pipelines using tools such as Airflow, Kafka, dbt, or equivalents.
- Working familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar modern data platforms, including data modeling and performance fundamentals.
- Strong debugging ability with imperfect real-world production data.
- Prior customer-facing technical experience in solutions engineering, forward deployment, technical consulting, or a startup environment is preferred but not required.
- Supply chain planning, logistics, or operations experience is a nice-to-have.
- Clear written and verbal communication, high agency, adaptability, ownership, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to travel as required, up to 50%.
