Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ship new products and services for internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain highly available API-based services for Thunes’ global payments platform.
- Improve platform scalability, performance, security, reliability, and development processes.
- Write high-quality, testable, readable, scalable, and documented software.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, pair programming, daily stand-ups, and technology evaluations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Golang.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers such as AWS SNS/SQS, Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience designing and developing web and API solutions.
- Interest in the fintech industry and market innovations.
- A degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn are expected.
