Base Salary
$172k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve the quality and reliability of decision-making and motion planning subsystems.
- Collaborate with subsystem owners to implement quality initiatives.
- Enhance software quality assessments and reduce unrecoverable MRM rates.
- Conduct root cause analysis of complex issues within the Planning and Controls stack.
- Present work to the team to maintain high software quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
- Expertise in C++ software optimization and defensive programming for embedded systems.
- Experience designing and developing architecture for autonomous vehicle subsystems.
- Familiarity with Interface Contract Documentation and contract enforcement.
- Experience in compiler integration and optimization of complex codebases.
