Base Salary
$172k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop an ultra-stable operating system foundation for Flock's device fleet.
- Eliminate system vulnerabilities and accelerate hardware execution.
- Drive low-level Qualcomm Android BSP bring-up and device tree modifications.
- Collaborate with electrical engineering and application teams.
- Contribute to chipset bring-up and automated testing capabilities.
- Stabilize and optimize the software stack for active camera programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of experience.
- Proven experience with a large fleet of connected devices.
- Development experience in embedded systems/firmware design.
- Experience with chipset bring-up within Linux or Android ecosystems.
- Mastery of C and C++ programming languages.
- Familiarity with bootloader development and customization.
