Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, delivery, deployment, and maintenance of multi-feature software systems.
- Own team architectural direction and evaluate scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and system dependencies.
- Drive engineering best practices, write exemplary code, and conduct design reviews.
- Mentor and coach multiple engineers and provide technical and career development guidance.
- Identify simplification and technical-debt reduction opportunities and evaluate generative AI tools for engineering productivity and quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
