Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust build and deployment systems.
  • Automate software delivery processes and ensure the reliability of build pipelines.
  • Manage software packaging and installation for Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
  • Build scalable systems that are easy for customers and development teams to use.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product management, and operations in a distributed remote team.
  • Provide mentorship and help other engineers grow and succeed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
  • Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
  • Experience with build tools such as CMake, Make, Gradle, or Maven.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with Git or SVN and branching strategies.
  • Experience with software packaging and installation tools such as InstallShield, NSIS, or WiX Toolset.
  • Solid understanding of Linux, Windows, and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience deploying applications with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Familiarity with Java is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL Server and MySQL is a plus.
