Responsibilities
- Design and develop new Inside Business Portal features and improve existing functionality.
- Perform code reviews, write unit tests, refactor code, and manage technical debt.
- Align technical solutions directly with stakeholders and contribute to strategic deliveries.
- Provide hands-on support when investigating production issues and outages.
- Improve application resilience through security, quality gates, monitoring, and alerting.
- Work collaboratively in an agile environment and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional IT development experience.
- Highly proficient in core server-side Java development.
- Experience with Spring Boot and Spring modules such as Web, Data, and Security, or another dependency injection framework.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and relational modeling.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools, Confluence, Checkmarx, and ServiceNow.
- Experience with software development lifecycle activities, building services from scratch, and extending existing components.
- Understanding of continuous delivery concepts and experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and Maven.
- Experience using Linux as a deployment environment.
- Experience or affinity with IT security concepts, messaging technologies, performance optimization, and development with multiple technologies and languages including Java and Python.
- Advanced spoken and written English.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in an IT-related field.
