Responsibilities
- Lead analysis and implementation of technical solutions supporting communications infrastructure and enterprise IT systems.
- Lead development teams designing, enhancing, and maintaining distributed systems for operational data collection, visualization, maintenance, and analysis.
- Develop and document architecture strategies, technology roadmaps, solution designs, use cases, and technical documentation.
- Evaluate system, application, technical, infrastructure, and interface architectures for compliance, reliability, maintainability, performance, and security.
- Conduct customer discovery sessions, infrastructure and network assessments, analyses of alternatives, and level-of-effort estimates.
- Recommend technologies, applications, infrastructure approaches, and IT alternatives supporting mission and operational objectives.
- Document system interfaces and prepare Interconnection Security Agreements.
- Present technical proposals and recommendations to senior government officials and collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Support interface, quality assurance, performance, and cost-benefit standards for modern information systems.
- Continuously improve solution design blueprints, methodologies, and team technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 13+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise IT architecture, infrastructure, and technical solutions in complex environments; 17 years are required without a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience developing technical strategies, conducting analyses of alternatives, and creating level-of-effort estimates for large-scale IT initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST, and Section 508 federal security and compliance requirements.
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and communicate complex solutions to customers, stakeholders, and senior government officials.
- Preferred: software development and maintenance experience within the TSA environment.
- Preferred: experience with or exposure to STIP and/or STIX technology concepts and technology stacks.
