Responsibilities
- Work with product lifecycle managers to understand use cases, customer needs, and business requirements.
- Create system designs for new requirements involving DI Apps, DI Agents, and back-office interfaces.
- Create and maintain system-related technical documentation.
- Perform analyses to optimize total system architecture.
- Prepare artifacts for peer and subject-matter-expert review.
- Review user documentation and training materials with technical writers.
- Assist subject-matter experts with troubleshooting test and field issues.
- Contribute to bug resolution and help ensure product changes do not negatively affect customers.
- Prioritize workload and manage time to complete tasks within allotted timeframes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology or a related engineering field.
- Five years of related experience in application development or support in a Linux-based environment.
- Knowledge of embedded Linux development is preferred.
- Ability to solve problems using data-driven critical thinking is preferred.
- Understanding of constrained, resource-sharing environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of cloud-based environments, including Azure, is preferred.
- Familiarity with ADS, SharePoint, Word, and Visio is preferred.
- Familiarity with Distributed Intelligence, systems engineering best practices and methodologies, and UML modeling is desired.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and apply them to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10% per year based on project demands.
