Responsibilities
- Design, test, and deploy embedded software, frameworks, and drivers for microcontroller platforms.
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems using simulators.
- Analyze digital circuits and technical datasheets.
- Understand, maintain, and improve existing embedded software.
- Contribute to requirements, architecture, simulation, implementation, verification and validation, documentation, and common development standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- An above-average university degree in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or a comparable field.
- Proven C programming and software development experience.
- Good understanding of embedded operating systems and RTOS.
- Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, or CAN communication technologies.
- Experience with digital signal processing and conditioning and with measurement and laboratory equipment.
- Experience using at least one software version control and defect tracking tool, such as SVN or GitHub.
- Structured, self-motivated, and self-contained working style in an international interdisciplinary team, with strong written and verbal English skills.
