Responsibilities
- Automate security-critical IT workflows and operational processes in a TrustCenter environment.
- Design, build, and operate highly available Certification Authority systems in private and public cloud environments while complying with relevant security standards.
- Manage the lifecycle of CAs, certificates, and smartcards.
- Ensure secure administration and stable operation of complex infrastructures.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities using DevOps and CI/CD methods.
- Provide technical advice to service owners and solution architects and support the development of DevOps structures.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, handle 2nd-level support requests, and maintain technical documentation in ticketing and knowledge systems.
Requirements
- Completed computer science studies, Fachinformatiker training, or a comparable technical qualification.
- Strong knowledge of PKI, certificates, certificate-based applications, and Hardware Security Modules.
- Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, and Kubernetes environments.
- Several years of experience with Bash, Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience designing, implementing, and operating CI/CD pipelines and deploying complex infrastructures with automation and API usage.
- Experience with highly available LDAP systems and administration of PKI systems, databases, and web servers.
- Solution-oriented, team-oriented, structured, independent, and strong problem-solving approach.
- Independent communication skills in German and English at least at B2 level.
