Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing on new and existing products.
- Review documentation, define requirements, and create test cases and test plans.
- Execute manual testing across functional, regression, end-to-end, database, and web services scenarios.
- Drive performance, load, and security testing practices.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases, using AI to keep the test suite current.
- Apply GitHub best practices and run automated tests in pipelines and on scheduled processes.
- Work with the QA organization to build product knowledge, resolve challenges, and share results.
- Design, document, and implement test strategies, automation, tools, and processes.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages and techniques, including Node, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, RDBMS, and REST APIs.
- 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining test automation for predominantly backend, web, and mobile applications.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum QA environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and continuous-learning mindset.
