Responsibilities
- Explore new machine learning opportunities and perform proof of concepts.
- Develop and implement machine learning models for cost and sourcing predictions.
- Lead evaluation of emerging technologies and develop new features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define solutions.
- Monitor machine learning models and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing for effective AI use.
Requirements
- Experience with state-of-the-art ML modeling techniques like transformers and generative modeling.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Ability to bridge advanced ML approaches to real-world applications.
- Experience with containers, orchestration, and distributed systems.
- Self-driven attitude with problem ownership and solution delivery.
- Strong software fundamentals including design patterns and testing.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native practices.
- Comfortable working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience building and consuming CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with command line and *nix systems.
- 5+ years in engineering teams building large-scale ML-driven products.
- 3+ years leading cross-team engineering efforts.
- Strong project management execution skills.
