Responsibilities
- Create accurate and efficient functional models for System-on-Chip designs.
- Collaborate with software teams to gather inputs and enable early-stage development before physical silicon is available.
- Diagnose and resolve firmware issues by analyzing simulation results.
- Promote adoption of virtual platforms to accelerate development and improve collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 3–5 years of related professional experience.
- Alternatively, a master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 2–3 years of experience.
- Working knowledge of Python and C++.
- Fundamental understanding of firmware and software architecture.
- Experience with Virtualizer, Simics, QEMU, or gem5 is desirable.
- Experience with ARM and/or RISC-V computer architecture is highly valued.
- Other majors may be considered with sufficient relevant knowledge or experience.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools and collaborate with teammates.
