Base Salary

$125k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Manage GPU and CPU infrastructure deployments to Top Secret datacenters.
  • Provide GPU-as-a-service support for external customers on bare-metal and virtualized platforms.
  • Design, validate, and productize AI-cluster solutions at 100,000+ GPU scale.
  • Develop automation for on-premise Kubernetes and AI clusters and operating systems.
  • Deploy and manage databases, monitoring systems, distributed storage, and other core infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers to create scalable, operable, and maintainable products.
  • Improve the full service lifecycle from design and deployment through operation and refinement.
  • Build monitoring and alerting systems and identify improvements that increase availability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems/IT, or engineering plus 1+ year of professional SRE or DevOps experience, or 3+ years of professional SRE or DevOps experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or comparable infrastructure tools.
  • Experience with OCI containers, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
  • Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Development experience in Python, C++, or Go.
  • Preferred qualifications include Python-based development, Kubernetes cluster management, Linux boot and systems configuration, distributed databases and data modeling, large-scale server automation, TCP/IP networking, cloud virtualization, NVIDIA GPU deployment stacks, and build technologies such as Bazel and Makefiles.
  • Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance is preferred; the role requires successfully obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret clearance.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends and travel domestically and globally as needed.

Benefits

  • Base salary range is $125,000.00-$195,000.00 depending on level, with an additional 10% clearance differential up to $20,000 annually for eligible employees.
