Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Create technical product designs, architectures, and application or service solutions aligned with technology roadmaps.
- Develop and shape a department-wide technical vision across multiple engineering teams.
- Partner with product management, software engineering, architecture, customers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead technical planning, system decomposition, delivery-team coordination, code reviews, and design reviews.
- Coach and mentor engineers and serve as a senior technical expert and role model.
- Design and develop complex end-to-end ecommerce, payment, and full-stack software systems.
- Implement cloud, containerization, CI/CD, automated testing, operational readiness, and self-service capabilities.
- Create and deliver technical presentations and influence engineering standards and strategic change.
- Support risk management and the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, typically with 15 or more years of experience designing and developing complex software projects.
- At least eight years of experience in the FinTech domain.
- One to two years of experience implementing cloud application solutions using containerization, CI/CD, automated testing, and security guidelines.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and creating technical solutions without formal people-management responsibility.
- Strong communication and public-speaking skills with the ability to present to all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, development methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience designing and building complex end-to-end systems as a full-stack developer.
- Hands-on experience with Java, RESTful web services, Spring or Spring Boot, messaging frameworks, Oracle PL/SQL, JavaScript frameworks, and test automation.
- Experience with microservices architecture, object-oriented analysis and design, CI/CD pipeline implementation, code repositories, bug-tracking tools, and Wikis.
- Understanding of AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure and experience with Kubernetes is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes commerce, APIs, payment operations, checkout functions, real-time payment networks, advanced Java and Spring development, and AWS-based application architecture.
- Must complete a background and drug screen and be able to perform the stated physical and communication requirements.
