Base Salary
$200k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship generative AI-powered user experiences, including natural language commands and AI agents.
- Own major software features from conception through deployment and iteration.
- Scale the platform to ingest terabytes of data from varied sources.
- Develop real-time data querying and user notification capabilities.
- Optimize search algorithms for fast results.
- Collaborate with engineers, deployment teams, users, and cross-functional partners to solve customer problems.
- Write robust, well-tested, and well-designed production software.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 8 years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
- Experience shipping and iterating on production-grade software professionally and/or in the open-source community.
- Understanding of responsible generative AI practices, with bonus experience applying LLMs to improve user experiences.
- Strong understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems.
- Strong modern software-development practices and comfort navigating large codebases.
- Located in San Francisco and open to working in the office.
- Ability to own large portions of an application and translate product requests into reliable software components.
