Responsibilities
- Own test scenarios, test coverage, quality risks, dependencies, edge cases, and release readiness from a QA perspective.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright.
- Define and execute smoke, sanity, regression, integration, API, UI, system-level, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and Scrum teams to build quality into the development lifecycle.
- Support CI/CD integration for automated test execution across cloud and edge-device ecosystems.
- Analyze defects, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
- Mentor junior QA team members and improve automation and quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in automation testing and experience with Playwright preferred.
- Strong understanding of API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end validation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Good debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively drive quality improvements.
- Preferred experience with IoT platforms, gateways, edge devices, embedded systems, or industrial software products.
- Familiarity with device-to-cloud communication workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Python, TypeScript, or similar scripting/programming languages.
- Understanding of Linux-based environments and system-level troubleshooting.
- Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
