Responsibilities
- Design, set up, and manage CI/CD infrastructure across physical, virtual, and cloud-based environments.
- Write scripts and use automation tools to improve development, delivery, and deployment processes.
- Monitor application performance and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure system and software scalability, reliability, uptime, and compliance with security standards.
- Support and train development teams in using the CI/CD environment.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure architectures are integrable and releasable.
- Keep current with evolving technologies through continuous learning.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience or understanding of software development, integration, and testing.
- Knowledge of Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with network and security principles.
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git and containerization tools such as Docker or Podman.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab-CI and infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Knowledge of artifact management tools such as Artifactory or Nexus and monitoring tools such as Grafana and ElasticSearch.
- Scripting skills in Python, Groovy, or Gradle.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP and relevant certifications is desirable.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse, remote teams.
