Base Salary
$185k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the client-side telemetry system in the Rust core.
- Evolve the current log bundle system into comprehensive support bundles.
- Reduce the I/O and compute overhead of the current logging infrastructure.
- Own feature development and customer support for the Rust SDK.
Requirements
- 3+ years of systems-level Rust experience with production-grade libraries or systems.
- Experience in observability and telemetry design, including instrumentation and logging.
- A library/SDK development mindset with a focus on API design and developer experience.
- Fluency in cross-platform development and FFI interactions.
- Strong written communication skills for async-first, distributed team collaboration.
- Customer empathy and willingness to engage directly with customers.
