Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to execute pre-sales activities including opportunity qualification and technical presentations.
- Lead the technical and product sale, recommending best-practice solutions for customers.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor by understanding customer technical pains and designing innovative solutions.
- Build and present engaging product demonstrations to showcase Twilio’s capabilities.
- Proactively identify team needs and propose strategies for implementation.
- Contribute to the Solutions Engineering community through knowledge sharing and creating reusable materials.
- Mentor less experienced Presales Engineers and act as a team leader.
- Present regularly at industry and internal events.
Requirements
- 12+ years of pre-sales experience with complex technical products or customer-facing technical support.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey product ROI.
- Ability to understand customer communications needs and guide them to technical solutions.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and thought leadership.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills for strategic vision communication.
- Customer-focused problem solver with a balance of innovative solutions and customer interests.
- Previous software development experience or knowledge in backend and web development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and application architecture.
- Experience in Telecom, SIP, Contact Center, or Security.
- Experience with sales methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in Portuguese and professional-level English; Spanish is a plus.
