Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-ready generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks.
- Build intelligent automation and autonomous coding systems for trading, risk analysis, and operational workflows.
- Create conversational AI interfaces and intelligent assistants for traders and business users.
- Architect RAG pipelines, vector-database solutions, embedding strategies, prompt-engineering frameworks, and domain-specific LLM fine-tuning strategies.
- Develop multi-agent systems, guardrails, validation frameworks, and monitoring systems for AI applications.
- Build data pipelines and ETL processes integrating market data, trade data, research content, training data, and knowledge bases.
- Create APIs and microservices to integrate AI capabilities into trading and risk platforms.
- Partner with traders, sales, quants, technology, compliance, and risk teams to identify use cases and meet regulatory and governance requirements.
- Contribute to Citi’s AI/ML community of practice and evaluate emerging AI technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Professional experience in AI/ML engineering, software development, or data science.
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying production AI applications and delivering end-to-end technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI techniques and LLMs such as GPT, Claude, and Llama.
- Practical experience implementing RAG systems and agentic frameworks or autonomous coding systems.
- Knowledge of statistics and machine learning techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Front-end development experience.
