Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and operate production-grade Generative AI solutions, including retrieval augmented generation and agentic architectures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and Digital Transformation teams to capture requirements, prioritize opportunities, define success measures, and track outcomes, costs, and return on investment.
- Evaluate models, platforms, technologies, and vendors based on business value, cost, risk, strategic alignment, and long-term supportability.
- Develop AI solutions using RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt engineering, model evaluation frameworks, and responsible AI practices.
- Provide L1, L2, and L3 support across AI Engineering services and ensure dependable service continuity.
- Follow governance, security, privacy, regulatory, risk management, documentation, release readiness, and change management requirements.
- Share expertise, promote best practices, and support collaboration and professional development across teams.
Requirements
- Experience delivering or operating AI engineering, machine learning, or data science solutions, preferably in financial services or another regulated industry.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying custom Generative AI solutions on Azure or AWS in production environments.
- Expertise in RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and responsible AI.
- Knowledge of security protocols, data privacy, data governance, and model risk management in global financial organizations.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with LangChain or LangGraph orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques, predictive analytics, agentic AI, and LLMOps or comparable operational practices.
- Experience providing first-, second-, and third-line support across multiple business areas.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Degree in Computer Science or Data Science, or equivalent practical experience, with the ability to adapt small or large language models for domain-specific contexts.
