Responsibilities
- Design and ship AI-powered features for requirements drafting, consistency checks, impact analysis, and intelligent suggestions.
- Build agentic workflows that help systems and domain engineers explore designs, simulate changes, and validate requirements.
- Evaluate and integrate language models while optimizing production systems for reliability, latency, cost, and debuggability.
- Build data pipelines, evaluation harnesses, prompt and model management, observability, and safety guardrails.
- Develop backend integrations, APIs, and UI hooks to deliver complete AI features from prototype through production.
- Partner with product and customers to identify valuable workflows, run experiments, and iterate based on usage.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing, designing, testing, and operating production software services at scale in a cloud environment.
- Hands-on experience with modern LLM providers and tooling such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, vector stores, and RAG patterns.
- Familiarity with prompt design, retrieval-augmented systems, evaluation methods, and safety or guardrail approaches.
- Ability to evaluate tradeoffs among models, architectures, and deployment patterns and make pragmatic technical decisions.
- Comfort working with high ownership in a fast-paced environment centered on experimentation and iteration.
