Responsibilities
- Architect and refine Jenkins deployment pipelines for seamless, zero-downtime releases.
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale AWS infrastructure using Terraform and reusable modules.
- Manage AWS environments and services including API Gateway, Lambda, EKS/ECS, RDS, S3, and SQS.
- Operate Kubernetes and Docker environments, including orchestration, service meshes, and Helm.
- Implement proactive observability, anomaly detection, and automated root cause analysis using tools such as Datadog Watchdog.
- Define and monitor SLOs and SLAs, lead incident response, and conduct post-mortems.
- Develop automation and custom tooling with Python or another scripting language.
Requirements
- 8+ years or equivalent industry experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional experience developing CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines with Jenkins.
- Extensive experience architecting on AWS Cloud and operating AWS services.
- Expert-level Terraform knowledge, including state management, workspaces, and complex module development.
- Advanced Kubernetes and Docker experience, including orchestration, service meshes, and Helm.
- Strong proficiency in a scripting language such as Python.
- Strong communication skills.
- Preferred experience with DNS, CDNs such as Akamai and CloudFront, AI productivity or release-quality tools, secure-by-design practices, and AWS certifications.
