Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance SAP ABAP functionality for the existing SAP landscape, particularly financial modules on HANA/ABAP.
- Review functional specifications and complete technical design, development, and documentation.
- Support functional teams during testing, bug fixing, implementation, production support, and post-go-live enhancements.
- Develop and maintain SAP integrations, interfaces, workflows, and clean-core solutions.
- Work across multiple projects, collaborating with business, IT, onsite, and offshore teams.
- Provide production support outside normal business hours and on weekends when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent coursework and experience.
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience, including stated experience with MDG-V, IDOCs, workflows, RFC, OOPS ABAP, debugging, interfaces, SAP HANA CDS views, OData services, and RICEF.
- Experience with ECC and S/4HANA development, including BAdIs, BAPIs, LSMW, ALE, RFC calls, IDOCs, BDC, business objects, classes, methods, Adobe Forms, SmartForms, SAPscript, Data Dictionary, and ALV.
- Knowledge of OData development using CDS and AMDP, SAP RAP and CAP programming models, SAP extensibility, and clean-core principles.
- Experience migrating custom code from ECC or SOH systems to S/4HANA and applying technical remediation and clean-core frameworks.
- Knowledge of Native SQL, ADBC, external views, ABAP Core Data Services, AMDP procedures, text search, CDS annotations, Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP BTP technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, collaboration skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Willingness to work with IT/SAP project methodologies, change-control processes, and varied support models.
