Responsibilities
- Build and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted user journeys.
- Turn complex financial flows into simple, fast, and reliable mobile experiences.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to take features from concept to production.
- Own app quality across performance, crash rates, loading states, edge cases, and release stability.
- Use production feedback, analytics, and customer behavior to improve features after launch.
- Integrate APIs and authentication while maintaining secure data handling and reliable financial workflows.
- Debug production issues and improve mobile performance, reliability, and app quality.
Requirements
- Strong native Android experience using Kotlin.
- Experience shipping Android apps used by real users.
- Understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android development.
- Strong product sense and care for user experience.
- Ability to debug production issues and improve performance, reliability, and app quality.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and moving quickly without lowering quality.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Candidates must already be based in Germany.
- Candidates should demonstrate personally building, shipping, or scaling a serious product, platform, or system.
