Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other functions to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
- Apply secure coding practices and implement effective unit testing.
- Advise stakeholders, resolve technical problems, manage risk, and contribute to policy and control improvements.
- Lead and supervise a team when applicable, including allocating work, coordinating resources, and supporting professional development.
- Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function and communicate complex or sensitive information.
Requirements
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
- Thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise.
- Ability to make evaluative judgments, select solutions using technical experience, and resolve problems guided by precedents.
- Ability to influence decisions, advise stakeholders, and communicate complex or sensitive information.
- Ability to work across functions and understand how the sub-function integrates with broader organizational objectives.
- Ability to manage risk, strengthen controls, and comply with relevant rules, regulations, policies, and codes of conduct.
