Responsibilities
- Analyze integration needs and plan software designs.
- Program, customize, edit, test, and debug new and existing software applications.
- Evaluate software designs, test results, technical manuals, literature, patents, and current practices.
- Review technical requirements documentation and document development activity.
- Work with Quality Assurance to determine whether applications meet specifications and technical requirements.
- Apply software engineering methodologies, process design and redesign, and project management skills.
- Work with moderate guidance while exercising independent judgment in significant matters.
- Maintain regular attendance and work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience may also be considered.
- Knowledge of software engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application.
- Ability to apply process design, process redesign, and project management skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
