Responsibilities
- Understand, maintain, and enhance existing data pipelines.
- Integrate and adapt data from public and proprietary sources.
- Collaborate with ML scientists to meet their data needs.
- Ensure secure and retrievable data storage.
- Perform code reviews and uphold software engineering best practices.
- Communicate technical work effectively across teams.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Cheminformatics, or a related field.
- For Engineer II, 3+ years of relevant experience is required.
- Hands-on familiarity with structural biology data formats like .cif and PDB.
- Strong software engineering practices focused on maintainable systems.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Ability to operate in a research-driven environment.
