Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Android solutions for Toast POS hardware.
- Ship features end-to-end, from design through rollout and monitoring.
- Create great UX using modern Android development best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and team collaboration.
- Raise the bar for the Android experience at Toast.
Requirements
- Proficient in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development.
- Hands-on experience shipping production Android apps.
- Solid grasp of modern Android tooling and frameworks.
- Excited about AI-assisted development and new workflows.
- Comfortable integrating with backend services (REST/GraphQL).
- Strong on software development fundamentals and code quality.
