Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of new architecture and major functional upgrades for the COUPA platform.
- Build expertise in the COUPA application suite to design better application and data frameworks.
- Adhere to COUPA iterative development processes to deliver value with each release.
- Act as a sounding board for architecture standards and advocate for their usage.
- Participate in defect analysis for maintenance releases to resolve customer-facing issues.
- Own the prioritization, management, and reporting of progress against finance initiatives.
- Work closely with SAP and MuleSoft teams to define requirements for end-to-end flow.
- Validate delivery approaches for system changes to ensure accurate testing and documentation.
- Contribute to interface design and assist with integration testing as needed.
- Collaborate with internal and third-party teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with COUPA configurations and administration.
- Skilled understanding of SAP financial table structures and data elements.
- Experience across the full lifecycle of technology-enabled change.
- Sound understanding of COUPA products, SAP S4/HANA, and analytics/reporting.
- Ability to work effectively with offshore and nearshore service providers.
- Experience collaborating within a matrix organization.
- Skilled in influencing and negotiation with senior collaborators.
- Excellent written, verbal, social, and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated and highly organized, able to work under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
