Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for the Technical Operations team.
- Own the architecture and technical direction of the data platform and internal tools.
- Design and build data pipelines and integrations for a unified data warehouse.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to identify impactful opportunities.
- Build back-end systems for role-based reporting on engineering health and costs.
- Ensure quality, reliability, and operational monitoring for critical reporting.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and provide constructive feedback.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance development workflows and productivity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with production data pipelines.
- Proven ability to drive projects from design to rollout.
- Strong skills in SQL and data modeling, plus proficiency in a modern programming language.
- Hands-on experience with agentic engineering and AI tools.
- Experience integrating third-party systems and designing data contracts.
- Ability to partner with non-engineering stakeholders to translate processes into technical solutions.
- Self-starter mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and leading within a small team.
