Base Salary

$78k - $176k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement test plans based on requirements and functional specifications.
  • Perform requirements analysis and verification and validation of software systems.
  • Execute manual, automated, and user acceptance testing plans.
  • Document test results, track quality assurance standards, identify defects, and communicate findings to development teams.
  • Prepare technical requirement documents, testing plans, technical findings reports, and client-facing presentations.
  • Work with analysts, developers, and subject matter experts to resolve system deficiencies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience performing software verification and validation.
  • Experience researching, developing, and analyzing requirements.
  • Experience preparing technical presentations, Technical Requirement Documents, testing plans, and technical findings reports.
  • Experience executing manual, automated, and user acceptance testing plans.
  • Experience using Confluence and Jira.
  • Knowledge of the Verification and Validation lifecycle.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Development or Quality Assurance.
  • Preferred: experience leading QA, quality control, or verification and validation teams on software projects.
  • Preferred: experience creating and managing linked Confluence and Jira workspaces and delivering client-facing presentations.
