Responsibilities
- Own the architecture of Reddit’s iOS Mobile App to scale for 100M+ DAUs.
- Identify gaps in the current iOS App Architecture and lead redesign efforts.
- Define and execute key user-facing performance goals.
- Improve observability and data quality for key performance areas.
- Drive a company-wide culture of performance for iOS engineers.
- Mentor iOS developers across the company.
- Act as a go-to person for complex iOS development problems.
Requirements
- Deep experience in building mobile applications at scale.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for scalable software development.
- 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in iOS applications.
- Experience influencing large organizations on technical direction.
- Familiarity with modern iOS development frameworks like Swift UI.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver user experiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent expertise.
