Base Salary
$131k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend microservices using Java and the Spring Framework.
- Shape backend architecture, mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and participate in software programming initiatives.
- Develop and direct software validation and testing methods using JUnit and Katalon.
- Prototype and deploy solutions on cloud-based platforms using platform and cloud data services.
- Analyze proof-of-concept, performance, and end-to-end testing results and coordinate infrastructure needs.
- Support the software development lifecycle while coordinating with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
- Deploy build artifacts across environments using GitFlow, GitHub, Jenkins, Python, and Bash.
- Apply software development best practices and create solutions for customer technical and mission needs.
Requirements
- In-depth experience with Java, the Spring Framework, microservices architecture, design patterns, RESTful APIs, and relational and NoSQL database integration.
- In-depth experience with DevOps toolsets and practices, software testing and performance tools, Python, and Bash.
- In-depth experience developing on commercial cloud platforms and using cloud data services.
- Experience with version control and issue or problem tracking systems.
- Bachelor's degree with 12 or more years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 10 or more years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- An active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
- Preferred experience includes Elasticsearch, Postgres, DynamoDB, Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS, AWS Lambda, and AWS S3.
- Preferred experience with SAFe development practices.
