Lead Engineer - Billing SRE DevOps

Responsibilities
- Develop requirements with the product owner and lead based on solution designs.
- Configure and operate Amdocs Kenan Billing modules, including usage processing, billing and invoicing, payments, and journals.
- Support functional testing, SIT, UAT, production releases, and sprint deployments in test and production environments.
- Perform bill runs, post-bill-run activities, invoice validation, reporting, CDR reconciliation, and billing error correction.
- Monitor applications, alarms, pods, and system health, and resolve production incidents and technical issues.
- Maintain environments and support infrastructure upgrade activities such as EKS cluster upgrades.
- Identify root causes, publish RCA documents, and implement permanent fixes for production incidents.
- Create and coordinate problem tickets with development teams and work with Amdocs R&D to resolve product defects.
- Support Kenan API-TS activities and clear MIU errors.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience, including a minimum of 4 years in Amdocs Kenan billing development and operations.
- Experience with Kenan configurations across usage processing, billing and invoicing, payments, and journals.
- Strong Amdocs Kenan operations experience and readiness to work in a DevOps operations-support model.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and shell scripting or other scripting languages.
- Exposure to AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps practices is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and apply AI knowledge in day-to-day work.
