Responsibilities
- Design and architect components and subsystems within larger, complex solutions.
- Write high-quality, testable .NET code and deliver cloud-native solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders across the full project lifecycle.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and subsystem architectures.
- Contribute to discovery, planning, design reviews, and architectural decision-making.
- Refine specifications, acceptance criteria, and architectural decisions in a spec-driven delivery process.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, code quality, and learning.
- Resolve technical challenges and informally coach and mentor junior engineers.
- Maintain engineering standards, documentation, and a collaborative team environment.
- Contribute to Ensono Digital communities and competency groups through knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing high-quality solutions using .NET, including .NET Core or modern .NET.
- Experience building and operating systems on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Strong understanding of microservice and distributed architectures, including their benefits and trade-offs.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and subsystem architectures.
- Experience writing integration and end-to-end tests, using approaches such as BDD where appropriate.
- Accountability for code quality, security, and engineering standards throughout delivery.
- Strong technical communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to resolve technical challenges in complex delivery environments and take responsibility for outcomes.
- Ability to contribute to architectural discussions, discovery activities, and design reviews.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools with professional judgment and accountability.
- Collaborative, proactive, professional approach focused on knowledge sharing and high-quality client outcomes.
