Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support frameworks for test infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automation for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Execute tests and provide regular feedback on quality status.
- Research, recommend, and implement tools to improve automation, regression coverage, and delivery quality.
- Collaborate with team members and mentor them on automation strategies and methodologies.
- Identify issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements to application and test quality.
- Document test cases and test results thoroughly.
- Use measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality.
- Support quality throughout the software development lifecycle from requirements definition through delivery.
- Test functional edge cases and troubleshoot application or test failures to identify root causes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus three years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree in one of these fields plus five years of experience.
- Three years of experience with a master’s degree or five years with a bachelor’s degree using JavaScript/TypeScript and Java to develop scalable automation solutions.
- Experience with web, mobile, API, backend RESTful API, and performance testing.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, coding standards, DOM, and web and mobile locators.
- Experience with Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, Git, Splunk, VSCode, NestJS, Spring Boot, NodeJS, Gradle, GitLab Pipeline, Postman, WebDriverIO, BDD, SQL, and JFrog.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, CloudWatch, and S3.
- Experience running Appium, Selenium, and API tests through Jenkins and GitLab Pipeline.
- Ability to query relational SQL databases for test validation.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, project management, test strategy, defect management, and Agile/Scrum practices.
