Responsibilities
- Define and execute test plans for computer vision applications, image/video workflows, camera integrations, APIs, services, and product scenarios.
- Validate software using representative datasets, environmental conditions, edge cases, performance thresholds, and false-positive/false-negative analysis.
- Build and improve automated test coverage across applications, APIs, services, integrations, regression suites, and release workflows.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects with evidence, severity, impact, and validation criteria.
- Support quality gates, test reporting, risk assessment, release validation, and go/no-go decisions.
- Test end-to-end flows across computer vision applications, platform components, control-system interfaces, warehouse execution systems, and cloud connectivity.
- Collaborate with software engineering, computer vision, architecture, product, DevOps, controls, cloud, and integration teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or test automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, API testing, test data management, defect management, regression testing, integration testing, and release validation.
- Experience testing APIs, backend services, distributed systems, middleware, or platform software.
- Ability to validate image/video inputs, expected outputs, datasets, edge cases, quality thresholds, latency, throughput, and environmental variability.
- Experience validating cloud platforms, hybrid connectivity, observability, logs, monitoring signals, or deployment workflows is preferred.
- Computer vision, image processing, video analytics, AI/ML application testing, camera systems, perception software, warehouse automation, robotics, WES, WMS, WCS, AutoStore, or ASRS experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, investigation, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
