Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable enterprise web applications using React and JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices with secure, reliable, and high-performing backend services.
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions with product owners and business analysts.
- Profile and optimize frontend components, backend services, and data flows.
- Apply secure coding practices and conduct code reviews to reduce vulnerabilities, defects, and incidents.
- Integrate APIs and microservices with React frontends.
- Automate build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshoot complex Java, Spring Boot, and React defects through root-cause analysis.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for system designs, interfaces, and frontend architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers in JavaScript, React, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with quality engineering teams on unit, integration, and regression testing strategies.
- Modernize legacy components using React and Spring Boot microservices.
- Contribute to architecture decisions involving scalability, observability, and fault tolerance.
- Drive improvements in code quality, development processes, monitoring, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Seven to ten years of hands-on experience designing and building large-scale enterprise applications with Java, Spring Boot, and related server-side frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in React, JavaScript, and modern frontend tooling.
- Practical experience designing, building, and deploying microservices, including service discovery, configuration management, and fault handling.
- Strong unit testing, integration testing, and test automation experience across frontend and backend components.
- Working knowledge of relational or document databases and efficient data modeling.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with distributed hybrid teams and stakeholders.
- Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer, Spring Professional Certification, or equivalent cloud-native microservices credentials.
