Responsibilities

  • Deliver full-stack functionality across UI, APIs, services, and data changes from design through production.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and Platform teams to break requirements into well-scoped technical tasks.
  • Build structured, versioned REST APIs with clear contracts and optional GraphQL support.
  • Implement unit and integration testing, relevant end-to-end testing, and improvements to CI/CD pipelines.
  • Advise Product Owners and project stakeholders on product readiness for go-live.
  • Establish stakeholder relationships, identify gaps, measure improvements, and contribute to efficiency and value creation.

Requirements

  • Backend development experience with Python or Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong TypeScript/JavaScript experience and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React or Angular.
  • Understanding of REST API design, authentication and authorization patterns, and error handling.
  • Hands-on SQL database experience including schema design and query optimization; NoSQL familiarity is a plus.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing; Cypress or Playwright familiarity is beneficial.
  • Exposure to Git branching, CI/CD pipeline builds, and automated quality gates.
  • Working knowledge of cloud and containerization concepts, including Docker; Kubernetes and a major cloud provider are a plus.
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and BrowserStack or another cloud-based device farm.
  • Strong communication skills and experience liaising with stakeholders.
