Base Salary
$118k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and optimize non-embedded software throughout the software lifecycle.
- Translate customer requirements into software designs and develop architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and software products.
- Develop and maintain software for systems integration and resolve issues affecting software reliability and efficiency.
- Handle user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and analyze user feedback.
- Implement relevant technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes for software development.
- Establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and performance metrics.
- Execute and document software research and development projects.
- Advise on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations.
- Perform software project management and supplier management activities.
- Track software team and supplier performance for compliance with project plans and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least four years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining software architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.
- At least four years of experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance after starting; U.S. Government clearance requirements require U.S. citizenship.
- Preferred qualifications include nine or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Level 4.
- Preferred experience includes Ada, Agile/SAFe development, GitLab, Git Bash, Jira, Artifactory, and real-time operating systems.
- Ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels.
- Successful completion of the required CodeVue technical assessment.
- Successful completion of Boeing’s Conflict of Interest assessment process and applicable post-offer testing requirements.
