Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Bluetooth software for Sonos products.
- Implement Bluetooth features and improve performance, reliability, and interoperability.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve software defects and customer-reported connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Mobile, Platform, and Hardware Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Participate in software design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
- Develop and maintain automated tests to improve software quality and regression coverage.
- Contribute to improvements in engineering processes, tooling, and development practices.
- Stay current with Bluetooth standards and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Experience developing software on Linux or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Bluetooth Classic and/or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
- Experience debugging complex software issues and working across hardware/software boundaries.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with consumer electronics or IoT devices, Bluetooth SIG specifications, profiles and protocols, Wi-Fi or other wireless networking technologies, automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software development tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of Agile software development practices.
