Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Deliveroo’s IAM architecture across various identity providers and governance tools.
- Design scalable solutions for authentication, authorization, and access management.
- Drive improvements to access governance processes and lead technical integrations.
- Develop custom integrations and middleware to enhance IAM capabilities.
- Build scalable automation across IAM services using modern programming languages.
- Ensure IAM architecture aligns with cloud-native best practices and supports Zero Trust principles.
- Act as a subject matter expert in IAM and mentor engineers in secure design practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software or security engineering with hands-on technical depth.
- Strong experience in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Java, or Python.
- Proven experience designing and operating IAM systems in a cloud-first environment.
- Deep understanding of authentication and authorization protocols like SAML and OAuth2.
- Experience with identity providers such as Okta, Azure AD, and Google Cloud Identity.
- Hands-on experience with identity governance platforms and lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud IAM and security architecture principles.
